From February 3rd to 6th, at the beginning of the year, the 2025 South African Mining Investment Conference (Mining Indaba 2025) was held at the Cape Town International Convention Center in South Africa. The theme of this conference was "Building a unified African mining value chain: Enhancing best practice" About 50 ministers and deputy ministers from countries in Africa and other regions, more than 10,000 industry representatives and more than 400 companies attended the conference. Xinhai has two mining machinery manufacturing bases, providing complete sets of primary and auxiliary equipment for mining operations with a capacity of up to 50,000 tons per day. The workshops are equipped with European-style overhead cranes of 200 tons and 100 tons, along with more than 30 overhead cranes of various capacities (200t, 100t, 50t, 32t, 16t). Major machining equipment includes 80t CNC floor-type milling and boring machines, φ8m gear hobbing machines, φ8000 gear hobbing machines, φ10m CNC double-column vertical lathes, and five laser cutting machines ranging from 6,000W to 20,000W. The facility can manufacture large-scale mining machinery, such as ball mills with a diameter of up to 7 meters.
Xinhai Mining holds a Grade I General Contracting Qualification for mining engineering, demonstrating high-level expertise and management capabilities. The company has the strength to undertake large-scale, complex mining projects. With a professional, meticulous, and experienced construction team, Xinhai provides services including mining engineering, beneficiation plant and tailings storage civil works, plant construction, equipment installation and commissioning, and technical training.
The engineering scope covers open-pit mining, adits, inclined shafts, ramps, and vertical shafts; civil construction for beneficiation plants, including ore bins, crushing workshops, grinding and flotation workshops, concentrate filtration workshops, and smelting workshops; tailings storage facilities; as well as office and living areas, warehouses, maintenance workshops, and infrastructure construction such as water, electricity, and roads. Based on clients' needs, Xinhai can provide comprehensive management services for the entire EPC project process, including mining, processing and tailings design management, equipment manufacturing and procurement management, engineering construction and installation commissioning management, and project trial operation management.
