Teachers and Students from China University of Mining and Technology Visited Xinhai Mining for Internship

From July 17th to 18th, 26 teachers and students from China University of Mining and Technology started their internship journey at Xinhai Mining. The leaders and staff of the relevant departments of Xinhai Mining warmly received the students and led them to understand the mining professional knowledge, employment environment and theoretical knowledge of each link of Xinhai Mining's EPCM+O Service. The students visited Xinhai Mining's Mining Research Institute, Mining Design Institute and Intelligent High-end Equipment Production Center and other innovation bases. The combination of theory and practice provides a vivid experience of industry-education integration teaching for students!

01Immersive experience of mining technology

After arriving at Xinhai Mining, the teachers and students of CUMT first visited the Xinhai Mining Immersive Mining Technology Experience Center, where they experienced the service innovation and technological innovation of Xinhai Mining. Afterwards, at the Xinhai Mining Academic Exchange Center, Chairman Zhang Yunlong personally delivered a welcome speech, introducing the learning requirements and future employment prospects of the mineral processing major to the students, igniting their enthusiasm for the mining industry.

02Mining related courses and training

During this visit and internship, Xinhai Mining arranged professional mining courses for teachers and students, including mineral processing test learning, common mineral processing process learning, introduction to smart mine automation and digital twin, introduction to Xinhai Mining contracting and operation management, introduction to the whole process of Xinhai delivery fulfillment center, workshop safety training, etc., so that students can have a deeper understanding of Xinhai Mining's mining technology strength and mining operation management capabilities. The relevant information of smart mines also gave students a new understanding of the future development trend of the mining industry.

During the learning and training process, Shang Linping, director of the International Sales Department of Xinhai Mining, as an alumnus of China International University of Mining, had in-depth exchanges and discussions with students and shared her own experiences.

03On-site visit to Xinhai Mining

In addition to course training, Xinhai Mining also arranged for teachers and students of China University of Mining and Technology to visit Xinhai Mining Research Institute, Mineral Comprehensive Utilization Test and Pilot Center and Mining Design Institute, so that students can have an intuitive understanding of mineral processing tests and process flows. Afterwards, the students came to Xinhai Mining Intelligent High-end Equipment Production Center to get close to the efficient and intelligent modern manufacturing factory.

The visit and internship ended successfully in a harmonious atmosphere. The teachers and students gained valuable practical experience, and also wrote a new chapter for the cooperation between Xinhai Mining and China University of Mining and Technology! In the nearly 30 years since its establishment, Xinhai Mining has always regarded talent training as an important part of corporate development. The school-enterprise cooperation model provides students with a platform that combines theory and practice, and also provides fresh blood and innovative thinking for the company.
