KYF flotation machine is a highly efficient flotation equipment, widely used in mineral processing. Its working principle makes full use of the characteristics of mechanical stirring and bubble flotation, and can efficiently separate the useful components in the ore. The following is the detailed working principle of KYF flotation machine:
1. Slurry suction
When the impeller starts to rotate, the slurry in the flotation tank is sucked in from all sides through the lower end of the impeller. This process makes the slurry flow in the tank and prepares it to mix with the air.
2. Air injection
At the same time, the fan sends air into the flotation tank. The air is introduced into the tank through a pipe or a fan and mixed with the slurry in the impeller area.
3. Mixing of slurry and air
The slurry and air are fully mixed between the impeller blades. The mechanical force generated by the rotation of the impeller causes the slurry and air to form bubbles and push the mixture to other areas in the tank.
4. Bubble rise and foam formation
The bubbles carry the useful mineral particles in the slurry up to the tank surface, forming mineralized bubbles. These bubbles will gather into foam and float on the tank surface.
5. Foam flows into the foam tank
The formed foam will naturally flow into the foam tank. The foam tank is designed to collect and separate the foam containing useful minerals for further processing and extraction.
6. Slurry recirculation
The slurry that is not carried away by the bubbles returns to the impeller area. This part of the slurry will continue to be recirculated to ensure that all useful minerals in the slurry are fully floated and separated.
7. Lower tank separation
The rest of the pulp enters the lower tank for re-separation. This step continues to process the unfloated pulp to maximize the recovery rate of minerals.
Through the above steps, the KYF flotation machine can efficiently separate the useful components in the ore, optimize the mineral recovery process, and provide advanced technical support for mineral processing.
