BF flotation cell is one kind of Xinhai flotation cell. It was developed independently by Xinhai. There are two model of BF flotation cell, one is created referring to suction cell, the other one is improved referring to direct flow cell. Details of BF flotation cell as follow:

1, Notes of BF floatation cell operation

(1) Before the BF floatation cell boot, check the looseness of bolts of each part

(2) After assembling the BF floatation cell, take 2-hour operation test by filling with water(3) In the operation test, the operation of BF floatation cell must be stable, no noise, and no vibration. The lubrication part without leakage, the tank without water leakage, bearing temperature rising does not exceed 30 degrees, and the highest temperature is lower than 60 degrees.

(4) In load test, foam scraper is working normally and rotates stably; the rotation of the impeller is stable, flexible and reliable; there should not be pulp flowing out from the receiving groove and gate; bearing temperature rising does not exceed 35 degrees, and the highest temperature is lower than 65 degrees.

2, The installation and test operation of BF floatation cell

(1) Impeller is installed on main bean of tank

(2) Before assembly of the impeller and the big belt wheel, the static balance test is necessary, and unbalanced moments are not greater than 200g/cm. In assembly, ensure the axial and radial gap between impeller and cover plate (axial clearance 3~5mm, radial clearance 11mm)

(3) Scraper axis must be horizontal, concentric and flexible operation; the middle box and tailing tank valve must be flexible to adjust.

(4) Bolts connection of adjacent single tank, tailings box and middle box must be tight

(5) After the assembly, the machine should take test run, and check bearing heating and mechanical movement.(6) No-load operation first, then the 8 hours of continuous operation after tank filled with water
