Entrusted by this project, Yantai Xinhai Mining Research & Design Co., Ltd. has undertaken the washability test of Guinea gold ore to seek for the optimum technological process and process indexes which may provide basis for technological process design and future production.
In view of gold particles in raw ores, gravityconcentration process flow was adopted, and the Au grade in gravityconcentrates and Au recovery rate are relatively high. On the basis ofcomprehensive consideration, gravity concentration + gravity tailings cyanideleaching process is chosen to recycle Au from raw ores.
Gravity concentration + gravity tailings cyanideleaching process flow: Raw ores were ground to -200 mesh (55%) and treated bygravity concentration, the gravity tailings were ground to -200 mesh (85%),then treated by agitation leaching. The gravity concentrates recovery + 16hcyanide leaching rate was 96.20%-96.69%. The Au recovery rate was 92.85%-93.32%after carbon desorption and smelting (desorption rate*smelting recovery=97.0%*99.5%).
