From 29 to 31 July, Mine Entra 2026, Zimbabwe’s premier Mining, Engineering and Transport Expo, was successfully held at ZICES International Conference & Exhibition Smart City, Bulawayo. The Xinhai Africa team showcased comprehensive mining industrial chain solutions and green mine new energy projects, engaging in in-depth exchanges with government authorities, state-owned mining enterprises, global mining groups and engineering service providers.
Under the theme “Unearth, Transform, Prosper: Anchoring Economic Transformation through Mining Value Chains”, the expo prioritises mineral beneficiation, mineral processing upgrading, green energy and sustainable mining. Participants include the Ministry of Mines of Zimbabwe, Kuvimba Mining, ZMDC, Zimplats, Kamativi Mining Company (Yahua Group), Bikita Minerals (China Mineral Resources) and other leading industry stakeholders.
During the exhibition, Xinhai presented four core businesses: beneficiation plant EPC contracting, old concentrator technical upgrading, full-life-cycle mine operation management (EPC+M+O); integrated PV & energy storage power supply solutions for mines; the comprehensive project of EV maintenance centre & high-power EV charging stations in Zimbabwe; as well as the strategic blueprint of Xinhai Africa Comprehensive Service Centre for Mining Industrial Chains and Xinhai China-Africa Mining Industry Collaborative Development Platform.
Led by Alvin Liu, Head of Xinhai Africa, the team attended a series of high-level closed-door meetings with government and industry representatives. Preliminary cooperation intentions were reached with multiple mining and energy enterprises. Participants discussed optimisation of mineral processing technology, stable power supply for mines, joint development of mining supply chains and new energy infrastructure, exploring long-term strategic partnerships based on resource sharing and complementary strengths.
With wholly-owned regional platforms established in Zimbabwe, Ghana and Tanzania, Xinhai Mining continues to deepen its presence across Africa. Moving forward, Xinhai will deliver localized full-spectrum mining services, facilitate industrial coordination, support Zimbabwe’s national strategy of mineral local beneficiation, and advance high-quality China-Africa mining cooperation through pragmatic joint initiatives.
