Inner Mongolia 3,000t/d lead-zinc mineral tailings dry stacking plant was a tailings dry stacking project undertaken by Xinhai. Through the field investigation, Xinhai technicians made a series of program designs according to the output of tailings and the basic properties of tailings slurry, finally determined the appropriate tailings dry stacking process.
The tailings slurry was pumped into the XCII cyclone unit by the pump, and the cyclone underflow flowed to the high frequency dewatering screen. The oversize products were coarse dry tailings, which were transported to the tailings storage site by the belt conveyor. The overflow of cyclone unit entered the peripheral rack transmission thickener for concentration, the thickener underflow was pumped into the press filter by the slurry pump for pressure filtration, the filter cake was fine dry tailings, which was transported to the tailings storage site by the belt conveyor.
The undersize water was pumped into the thickener. The overflow of filtrate and thickener returned to the water recycling tank.
The tailings dry stacking process that Xinhai designed was featured with unique equipment combination, simple process and good dry stacking effect. The final water content of tailings dry stacking was lower than 15%. In addition, some equipment used in the tailings dry stacking plant was equipped with Xinhai wear-resisting rubber, whose wear-resisting index was up to 128%. The service life of whole production line was twice as long as the common production line, which greatly reduced the artificial maintenance, and the operating costs were saved more than 2 yuan/ton at least.
