Deputy Minister of Ministry of Energy and Minerals of Tanzania Visited the Largest Gold Mine of Busolwa

Dr. Medard, the Deputy Minister of Tanzanian Ministry of Energy and Minerals (third from right), is visiting the gold mine, and Mr. Barak Ezekiel (first from right), the chairman of Mining Association and the owner of the mine is accompanying.

According to MEM News Bulletin, Dr. Medard, the  Deputy Minister of Ministry of Energy and Minerals of Tanzania, made a visit to  the largest gold mine of Busolwa and spoke highly on it. The project is located  in Geita, undertaken by Shandong Xinhai Mining  Technology&Equipment Inc.

Deputy Minister  congratulated the owner of the mine Barak Ezekiel who made great contributions to  providing jobs and increasing government revenue through paying royalties and  various taxes. In addition, Dr. Medard asked the owner mine to strictly conform to the government  regulations and  concentrate on environmental protection.

On the same day, Deputy Minister also met the head of electricity department of Geita region, and urged him to solve the problem  of power outage and ensure production and household electricity.
