The operator of the screening equipment should fully understand and be familiar with the structure and working principle of each part of the screening equipment. Before starting the screening equipment, the operator should prepare for driving, check the condition of the transmission belt or tire coupling, the condition of the screen mesh and the condition of other parts and components. For example, whether the connecting parts such as screws are tight, whether the electrical components fail, whether the main shaft of the vibrator is flexible, and whether the bearing lubrication is good.

Screening equipment is often used in crushing and screening process or washing process, and requires no-load start and stop. Therefore, operators need to follow the principle of starting in the reverse process and stopping along the process.

For vibrators lubricated with grease, high-quality lithium-based grease with a temperature range of -30~120°C should be used. Under normal working conditions, generally add 150~200g of grease to each vibrator within 24 hours. If the working environment of the vibrator is harsh, grease can also be added every 8 hours, and it is recommended to use a high-pressure grease gun for oiling. For vibrators and gears lubricated with thin oil, high-quality gear oil can be used. Use no. 70 industrial gear oil when the ambient temperature is less than 5°C. Use no. 90 industrial gear oil when the ambient temperature is greater than 5°C. The amount of fuel should depend on the structure of the vibrator. When the oil is added to remove the oil level inspection rod, a small amount of continuous oil drops will meet the requirements.
For the newly installed screening equipment, the lubricating oil needs to be replaced once after 80 hours of operation, and the lubricating oil should be replaced once every 300 hours thereafter. In winter and summer, because the temperature difference is too large, it is recommended to use lubricating oils with different viscosities. In addition, when filling oil, be sure to clean around the nozzle of the oil gun and the oil filling port, so that no dust can enter the oil cavity.

For the round vibrating screen, the rotation direction of the vibrator can be rotated in the direction of the material flow or in the opposite direction of the material flow. When rotating in the direction of the material flow, the speed of the material passing through the screen surface is faster, which is beneficial to improve the processing capacity of the circular vibrating screen. When rotating against the direction of the material flow, the speed of the material passing through the screen surface is slow, and the material is prone to block holes. At this time, it is necessary to appropriately increase the inclination of the screen surface. For the self-synchronizing linear vibrating screen, the two eccentric masses are generally driven by two motors respectively. The characteristics of the two motors must be the same, and the rotation directions must be opposite. For the forced synchronous linear vibrating screen, the rotation direction is not clearly defined.

During the production process, if the operator finds that the amplitude of the screening equipment does not meet the requirements of the screening operation, it must be adjusted in time.
For example, if the screening equipment uses block eccentric vibrators, the operator can adjust the angle between the main and auxiliary eccentric blocks. The smaller the included angle, the larger the exciting force and the larger the amplitude. Conversely, the larger the included angle, the smaller the exciting force and the smaller the amplitude. If the screening equipment uses a shaft eccentric vibrator, the operator can increase or decrease the counterweight on the flywheel and pulley to increase or decrease the amplitude of the vibrating screen.
